about

Meltdown EP is Plastic Flowers's debut release, where the Greek duo mixed their main influences: on Meltdown, one can hear, here and there, hints of post-rock, electronica and jazz. The concept of their songs is mainly one: human destruction. From Delicious Timebomb's melancholy to United Populists's irony, Plastic Flowers try to describe today's events with the right emotions. During the recordings they collaborated with many musicians from the Greek independent scene, who played string and wind instruments on this record. Synthesizers, samplers and strange electronic devices were their tools of the trade to achieve the final result. Some of the songs were recorded in an abandoned attic, where Plastic Flowers 'moved in' for some days to finish the album.
