Tiny Island Teeth was written and recorded in our Brooklyn apartment during the summer of 2011. Cakes and Tapes is responsible for the physical release- a limited edition of 50 cassette tapes. The album artwork was a collaboration between photographer Lily Roden (age 3) and Cory Siegler. Lily was given a handful of disposable cameras, and we ended up creating five different covers using her photos.
An accompanying cassette was self-released simultaneously with Tiny Island Teeth, titled Tooth Notes. Tooth Notes is a collection of demos for Tiny Island Teeth, recorded with one microphone straight to tape. You can listen to that here: lizardkisses.bandcamp.com/album/tooth-notes
released 06 September 2011
